Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a popular Indian actress who is best famous for her role in Beta Saajan, and Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her first fame was the role she played in the 1980s film Tezaab and Tezaab, which she co-starred along with the veteran actor Anil Koopor. The next film she appeared in was Dil in which she shared screen space with Aamir. She was born into the Mumbai middle-class family, and began dancing in her early years. At the age of 16 she started acting, and was a victim for a few years because most of her films at first were unsuccessful. In the end, she was successful with Indian cinema and rose to the top. After her wedding, she took an absence from the industry before returning to the film industry. She was recently a key player in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated 15 times in the Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India was awarded to her.
