Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently Onesti(born November 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now One Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to get a flawless score of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi who was the Romanian gymnastics trainer who would become Comaneci's coach later on she discovered her when she was six. She participated in the Romanian Junior Championships and finished 13th. She was awarded the championship in 1970. Her first competition in the international arena was in 1972 at a pre-Olympic Junior event for countries of the communist bloc she was awarded three gold medals and in 1973 and 1974 she was all-around junior champion. She took home four gold medals and one silver medals at her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she competed as a senior. In 1976, she was the first female athlete in the world to utilize a reversed double salto to dismount from parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a teenager, when she performed as the figure skating duo of the sister Nina Wayne for the travelling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne born 6 September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol began her career in entertainment in her teens. She began her career as model skater with her twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows known as Ice Capades. Ice Capades was a show that featured skaters ice skating performed by actors.
